This was a fun enjoyable read; there are some serious issues that are addressed in a non threatening way that did not take away from the lighthearted feel of the story. Nick and Sam were going through something that I think most couples face, lack of communication. I always find it funny comparing what they said versus what they were thinking. I have to admit, Sam often got on my nerves with some of her behavior because I truly felt that Nick had no clue on many of the issues regarding his behavior, however, Sam admitted to playing games. I often found that Ryan and Dani were more mature and insightful than Dani's parents. This is the third book that I have read from this author and I have enjoyed them all. I know that this is the 2nd book in the Redemption Series, and I had already read books 3 and 4 prior to reading this one, but it did not take away from my enjoyment or ability to follow the story. I can now see how some of the characters were mentioned in other editions of the series, but it did not take anything away from reading them out of order. This author has an easy style of writing that draws you in and gets you vested in the characters and the storyline. You will enjoy this read. I'm not really sure about this book. Maybe this wasn't as entertaining as the rest, even if they weren't spectacular either, because it just felt like reading through someone's life. It's all about misunderstanding and not getting what the other person really wanted. It's like sending your husband out for mayonaise & he brings home Miracle Whip. He wasn't listening & then says "I was just trying to do the right thing... I can never do the right thing for you & all you want to do is kick him to the curb for not listening in the first place. It's the same old boring thing with ups & downs & to fix it all the author gives them a great sex life... Oh well.
Do You like book The Great Bedroom War (2012)?
It was an over all good book but the ending was pretty much given away from the beginning.
