I skimmed a good bit of the descriptions of the river, the darkness, light, how Abby was freaking out, etc. If Zo has ultimate power over time, why is he only picking on Abby's timeline for most of the book? It's rather silly. And why does Abby tell Zo he can't do what he's doing and demand that he stop because she said so? He doesn't need to listen to her and her words are empty threats most of the time. Dante did get out of where he was and then it was more Abby and Dante telling us how much they love each other. I didn't quite feel it, but if I was in the target audience I might have liked it. 3.5 stars for me...I am listening to this series on CD!!! I LIKE the story...this is the second time I have listened to a book on CD. I think if I were reading this...I would like it better I bet that sounds nuts...just not feeling the voice on the CD...however the story is all sorts of interesting. I am so curious about Leo, I really LIKE him...he may be my FAVORITE character in the book. I am wondering about Leo's connection with Abby...have they met before??? Dante is all sorts of FABULOUS...looking forward to seeing how it all comes together!!!
