Okay. Dash it. I don't need sleep that badly. Honestly, I am surprised by how many 2 and 3 star reviews I am seeing. But you know, as the old adage goes, you won't be everyone's cup of tea. Let me tell you, this was definitely my cup of tea and I need a REFILL, stat!I read the prequel about a year ago and I was hooked. I needed more. However, I never willingly buy an ebook that's over 2.99 unless I just absolutely MUST have it. In this case, a friend gifted me a copy from my wishlist (THANK YOU), and let me tell you...this book had me from page one. For over a year I have waited to continue the journey of Eliza and Roan. I couldn't be more pleased with how it turned out.I think it was written beautifully and I clung to every page. I had to know what happened next. The entire time, I was rooting for Eliza and Roan-Team Reliza all the way, okay? And Dai. Does it get any more perfect that this handsome little scoundrel likes to read and his thirst for knowledge can never be quenched? Not to mention that he was reading the Harry Potter series. Bravo. Just. Bravo. The struggle for Dai and Roan was incredibly real, and your heart truly goes out to them. I absolutely hated the fiance. Ugh. I wanted Eliza to up and leave him immediately, but I can understand why she did not. However, having a drop-dead gorgeous Goblin King waiting for you in the Shadowlands, who is capable of giving deserving douchebags nightmares? PRICELESS. I keep capslocking in this review and I am sorry. I don't feel that words can express the excitement and satisfaction this book gave me. The characters were wonderful. The sex scenes were steamy, and I'm sort of upset that I don't have book 2 already.Oh, and the ending? I totally called it. I just had a feeling and when it happened, I couldn't have been happier. This is a must-read series and I will be getting the other books soon. xx Holy hell what an exhausting read!!! Omgosh I kept waiting and waiting and waiting for this to take off and finally get down to the nitty gritty. I think the concept for this story was good but man was it confusing in parts! I got the other books in the series, just hoping like hell they're not a frustrating and exhausting to read as this one was. Not sure if I can handle it if they are. Judas!
Do You like book The Goblin King (2011)?
Ok story. It was well written but I found the main characters to be only mildly interesting.

Fun story, I enjoyed it. Better than I expected a story about a goblin to be.

Urban fairy tail reminiscent of George McDonald except with a sexy lead.
