About book The Four Corners Of The Sky (2009)

I liked it but I didn't love it. I enjoyed his book Handling Sin a lot more. It took me forever to read because it just was so long winded. The narration just went on random tangents making the book probably twice as long as it needed to be. There were also so many unnecessary, repetitive descriptions of the characters/situations. Overall, I liked the story and the themes in the book but it really could have had some large chunks taken out. Four Corners of the Sky is a "feel good" book about an unlikely family of people trying to come to terms with who each of them is and with their relationships with each other. As each strives for the life they think will make them happy, they discover that the life they're living is just as it should be. This is a story of living in spite of life events and forgiveness. From beginning to end, you realize how fitting the title of this book. I thought that was rather genius of the author.Reading this, I felt like I was witnessing the unfolding of a screenplay or plot for a mini series. This was entertaining is a Hallmark sort of way and just all around, a heartwarming story. I could even envision certain actors playing the various characters. There were times when I felt like there was lacking information, like maybe I missed something. Overall, it was a good read and something that I didn't mind escaping to at the end of a day often filled with too much reality.

Do You like book The Four Corners Of The Sky (2009)?

A good story but way too long. A lot of info could have been left out.
