For a series as popular as this one, I thought P.C. Cast did a marvelous job with "The Fledgling Handbook 101." I thought she used some good reference material such as the Scottish castle and the explanation of how Nyx's influence over Paganism developed. Although I do agree it could have provided some more historical context from Herodotus, and his knowledge on the Greek Pantheon. P.C. Cast has created a basic textbook on knowledge about Paganism and its Greek beginnings and I do believe she could have explained more historical background on Eros and Nyx in regards to where Kalona originated from in regards to the winged Angelic ones.
