All in all, this was probably on par with the first book in the series, though a bit higher on drama. A fourth narrating character was added to the mix, this one a poor black girl rather than a white socialite. However, the entire book is mostly focused on finding Gloria and Jerome and saving them from the Mob, which wasn’t the best plot ever. It’s still a good book, but I was a little less enthused during some parts. I loved the conclusion and epilogue, however, as it all came together quite nicely. Oh. My. Gosh. This book was amazing!! I read it in a DAY!I loooved the alternating narrations of Vera, Gloria, Clara, and Raine cause it let you see so much of the story. And, I didn't end up hating Lorraine as much in this story, even after her backstabbing in Vixen. The plot and story were even better than in the first book, and the ending was ABSOLUTELY, POSITIVELY WONDERFUL. I CANNOT WAIT to get my hands on to Diva, and start reading!!!
