This book is just like the Percy Jackson series the only difference is that the main character is a girl named Emily. Emily is NOT a half-blood (demigod) but she does have a big interaction with the mythical world. This book is based off of Roman Mythology. Kate O'Hearn has a way of writing very similar to Rick Riordian, so if your a girl and you have just finished reading ALL the Percy Jackson book than you should really try these ones! (the second book in this series is caller Pegasus Olympus at War). The book I read was named Pegasus The Flame of Olympus. It was written by Kate O'Hearn.This book was about a young girl named Emily was inside her apartment during a major storm, when she heard a loud BANG. She mets this character named Joel, they go on a long journey to get Pegasus back to Olympus. My favorite part of this story was when Emily and Joel had to spray paint Pegasus to hid in the dark beacause of his beautiful glowing white fur. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes mythology and adventure.
this was a vary detailed book . if you love fantasy this is the best book to read .
