Another fantastic book in The Good Fight series. Takoda and Will meet briefly as teenagers and they felt a draw to one another even then, although neither understood it at the time. Will's father hates the local tribe, though he refuses to talk about why. Will, on the other hand is fascinated by the tribe and their customs and traditions.Will and Takoda meet again after Will moves back home to the family ranch after he graduates college. They hit it off and start seeing one another, in spite of the fact that Will's father would more than disapprove.I like the story. In this case, the conflict wasn't what I expected, but it fit. And, as always, the ending made me smile.Well done! Another good inclusion in this series, bringing in new characters Will and Takoda but also bringing back Bryce and Paytah for small cameos!I like the way the political issues are raised in these books but woven into the story and not as in your face issues, they seem to mean more this way.Will and Takoda have had a connection since they first met as teenagers, and it is still there 8(ish) years later when they meet again.Will gradually finds out why his Grandfather was keen to tell him tales of the land and of the Sioux, and he finds out why his father is so vitriolic against the local tribe.Takoda has to learn to trust Will in their new relationship.
