About book The Fifty-Seven Lives Of Alex Wayfare (2014)

The story is very well written and captivating. Buehrlen does a beautiful job of setting a variety of scenes throughout the book, whether it be Boston during the roaring twenties, or Missouri in 1876. Buehrlen paints a vivid picture of each scene in the reader's mind. The story consistently keeps the reader interested and wanting to read just one more chapter. This book will surely leave readers anticipating Buehrlen’s follow-up novel, ‘The Untimely Deaths of Alex Wayfare.’ I love this book so much. it is one of the first science fiction books I've read and it has made a very good impression on me. It is very interesting and it contains a little bit of everything (action, mystery, romance, etc.). In this book, a girl name Alex Wayfare has many difficulties in life with being a normal teenager. She thinks that things couldn't get worse until she has her first vision. She doesn't know what they mean and she thinks its just something random. But she can't explain how it feels so real and how if she gets hurt in one of her visions, she comes back to real life with those same injuries. She decides to try to ignore it as much as she can until one day when she feels she can't take anymore of it. On that same day she sees a flyer telling her to go to a local cafe and meet a man she's never met. She decides to go and when she meets him, he starts to tell her what her visions are. She then finds out that they aren't just any visions, they're vision of her past lives. She also finds out that someone doesn't want her to have the visions anymore or have her alive. Alex's journey is extraordinary and one that anyone can pass by. I would suggest this book to anyone because as I said, it has a little bit of everything.

Do You like book The Fifty-Seven Lives Of Alex Wayfare (2014)?

3.5 - not my usual genre but interesting. Certainly ended abruptly, leaving room for a series.
