Sweet book, written very cleverly and interestingly. I love that Henry and Todd and Henry and Henry and his daughter have nice mutually supportive, loving respectful relationships. Denise, his ex wife, was just fun; bad but still loveable. Thalia, as an actress takes on the job of pretending to be some star's lover, to improve his image. This whole story line was a little boring, and got a little stupid and mundane. Henry is living a quiet life of a recently retired attorney in New York when his ex-wife's husband dies. Henry reaches out to express his condolences to Denise, and sees a picture of his step-daughter he had last seen when she was 7. (She's now 29.)Henry and Thalia quickly make up for lost time. Thalia's arrival in Henry's life is all good, opening Henry up to new relationships and bringing a bit more chaos.

A light read but enjoyable. Another in my recent accidental trend of rich people books.

Light and easy book, nothing more. It was a good one to read after the Goldfinch.
