My problem is that I love to read so much I'll read any book that falls into my hands. I can't believe I've read a fourth LC novel. I finish them in a day, so I guess no harm done. The struggles of wanting to go into publishing and being interested in what's out there these days. This was much better than the L.A. Candy books, but still no literary treasure (duh). The characters were slightly more developed, the plot had more depth, and it wasn't quite as repetitive as L.A. Candy. If you are a light reader, or enjoy young adult books of this kind, you'll enjoy it. I haven't read the rest of the series, but LC seems to be pretty consistent, which isn't always necessarily good. P.S. There was still parenthetical use, but thank god it wasn't as much. Such a pet peeve in the LA Candy series. I started reading this book because I had read a couple other books by Lauren Conrad and loved them. I didn't enjoy this book nearly as much as I had with Lauren's other books because there were some boring parts and I didn't think it was that exciting. However, I probably will end up reading the next book in this series because the whole plot is really interesting; even though there are some slow parts I love the characters and the way Lauren writes her books.
Do You like book The Fame Game. Lauren Conrad (2012)?
Easy chick-lit, if you liked her reality tv show then you'll love her books!
