LOVEEEE THIS BOOK!All sarcasm and witty remarks of two people. Me likey to the moon and back! :)Well, it reminds me of my favorite movie, 10 Things I Hate About You (yang bukunya belom gue baca itu wakakak). The girl named January Cooper has this bitchy personality, but it's not like she's dumb or something. She just happen to be very very honest. Yes, VERY honest. Bold, underlined. And she's super rich also. So... yeah. You can imagine. Then the tragedy happened. Her shitty parents not only manipulated her, they also left her all alone. Goddamn, I just cant get it! January's parents are... how do I say this? Eugh. They're awful. More than awful, I couldnt find any word for that. Her life was in a mess. It's like her entire world was flipped to a nasty one. She has to find a job, she has to go back to her dorm and live under the same roof (and same room) with her ex-bestriend who happened to steal her ex-boyfriend. Well... this book is definitely not a sugarcoated one indeed. Then she met this guy who also has baggage in his shoulder. Christian has a past that haunted him. He likes January, but he hates it when he keep thinking about her. He was trapped. And so was January. The sweetest thing? When Christian drove January all the way from her dorm to her home for Thanksgiving (only to find out that her parents manipulated her and almost threw her in jail). They're so cute, having this conversation and fight all the way. I always like this kind of couple, it never bores me. Ah... I like like this novel! :) January and Christian had the cutest banter. Always rousing each other and smarting off. Because of their honesty, and both having a desperation and need for acceptance they bonded and became friends. At times January was kind of child like with her level of maturity. She was bratty and spoiled but it became obvious she didn't have the best upbringing. She was lonely and her parents controlled everything. She still had a heart of gold and longed for love and companionship. Christian was honest with her always. He was closed off but Jan was the only one who could get him to open up. There friendship was fun to watch blossom into something more.I really enjoyed this book.
