Back aboard the guided missile frigate USSJohn Bell Hood we have a ship spinning in a pool of recklessnessit's crew wasted by drugs and it's top officers losing it's grip on command. As the Hood steams toward a showdown with North Vietnamese MIGS young Lt Holcomb is forced to make an agonizing choice. One that can make his career or end it. This is an older book from P. T. Deutermann from 1994 but I like his stories so I gave this a high three. I liked the book and if you enjoy military stories you probably will enjoy it also.
