Sophie with her level-headed, practical, and realistic design advice just doesn’t seem to mesh with Natasha, who truly believes she is Martha Stewart if not more. Of course, I guess the whole Natasha stealing Sophie’s husband from her after they were divorced might play a part as well.In book #3, Sophie finds herself embroiled in a mystery involving her dead recluse ex-professor Mordecai, five friends who used to be his students, multiple other dead bodies, and a redecorating project of Mordecai’s house that all come together for a great read.I enjoyed this cozy. It brings together a great cast of characters, a little friendly spunk between Sophie and Natasha, a little budding romance, and some great murder mystery all in one nice read.I suggest this series. They are quick, light, funny, and certainly leave you wanting to know what Sophie and Natasha are going to come up with next.And remember,Books Are Life,Heather I love this series. I just do. There are so many helpful tidbits thrown here and there and this book surely delivers on those.And this book was going so great in so many things but the ending was just... unsatisfying. Sometimes I wish the "normal person who's actually evil" switch wasn't used so often. Is there something in the water that makes people into killers in that town or what? Geez.
