It could have been a really great book, if only the main character hadn't behaved like a five-year-old most of the time. Well, when you think of it, most of the characters did behave like such from time to time. I mean, seriously, what a sane adult would stomp on clothes in a public store, would get hit with a car by some crazy ex and not report it, or would give one's child for adoption just because of some rumours that might follow him or her growing up... It's just stupid, totally not reasonable. This really had all the elements of a good book, but what ruined it for me was the ending (spoiler alert) where there was no logical...or good explanation for the aunt not being dead and then just showing up.It was resolved too easy...which gave me the feeling the author was just tired of writing the story so just did a hurry up THE END. That was so unfortunate because the characters were likeable, yet flawed. There were so many secrets that I wished were resolved...but it just went flat.I have to say, I was very disappointed as I was really liking the first part of the story.

What a fun story. I did figure out who the daddy was but the other through me for a loop. Fun book
