I read this book from the library , but in NZ published as "incubus" and by Carol goodman .Think I prefer the incubus title.I thoroughly enjoyed the book, it started off quite gothic feel then changed to more typical paranormal . Not sure why it got such negative reviews, and I really would not compare to to Twilight or Sookie Stackhouse .Going to look out for the second book ... OK so for a book about a romance between an incubus and his lover...This was pretty bland in the lovin department. yes the relationship wrapup was sweet and unexpected but criminy..... fight much? crazy mood swings? I liked the book.it was a slow read for me I was able to put it down without thinking about it which says that it didn't have me in its clutches.. Now the book itself is good...great read especially if you like details...lots of details. It wasn't what I was hoping for with the description but I did finish the book and kudos for the ending and the lead into the next book. who else wants to judo chop Fiona in the throat? anyone?
I enjoyed the mix of academia and paranormal novel. Was a fun read. Going to request sequel.
