About book The Clone Codes (2010)

The Clone Codes takes place at Leeann's house she is in class in this story they use a lot of technology. So they use this thing called a comma glass and it lets you see things that conclude technology. this story you have to pay attention to the surroundings of the story. The main characters in this mystery is Leeann she is very smart ,and she is like really watchfully as I would say of her surroundings , like who people are and how they act. And she takes herself in the past like how her father, died and her sister ,she says to her self how much she misses him and wish he was still here she only loves a few people in her life like. Doc doc who has took care of her since she was a baby and her mom she loves her very dearly. The climax to this story is Leeann just found out by her mom the comma glass she left very important information for her she tells her the story of how her father and her sister died but Leeann says she knows how they died but she doesn't know everything she finds out there twins and one is a clone at first she said mom why didn't you tell me she was a clone I can take it .then her mother said honey your sisters not a clone you are.at that moment she lost everything her feelings she wouldn't believe it she said there's no way no your lieing and she runs out the room.and slams her comma glass on the ground .In this story the authors message is if you know some one that's different don't treat them different everyone is the same just because they seem different there always the same so no matter were life takes you stay strong because at first Leeann doesn't think the clones are human until she understands how people treat them and how they act how they do things and when she finds out that she is a clone she understands why clones don't like to be treated like that and she starts to understand that clones are humans there not just machines they are human. They do things just like us .In the begging of this book it was confusing at first but the more I read the more I understood things and like it to.in my opinion I didn't think it would be a good book but like I said this is a very awsome story it breaks things down for you if you are into mysterys this is a very good book I recommend to anyone who likes mystery this is the book for you if there was more books from this author liked this one I would read more . The Clone Codes blends a futuristic society with United States history. This is the first middle grade novel that I have read where spherical time is used to view the past, present, and future simultaneously. Leanna is attending virtual school where she participates in the underground railroad with Harriet Tubman while also living in futuristic times where clones and cyborgs are denied their rights as citizens. I was disappointed with the ending or lack thereof.
