4.5I loved this book it is about two boys and one girl, Hannah who was told of a hidden treasure, Frederick who is an apprentice clock maker, and Giuseppe who is an orphaned street musician.A strange set of Circumstances brings these three together and realize that they each have a special skill base that are the keys to puzzles.The only thing I didn't like about this book is the lack of description of how each character is feeling because it is important to know when there is three different characters. A high 3.5 star rating. Just because I don't feel particularly gushy about this book doesn't mean I didn't really like it. It's a quite enjoyable mix between The Thief Lord, The Invention of Hugo Cabret, Mariah Mundi, and Oliver Twist. Following the distinct yet intertwined stories of three charming characters, The Clockwork Three keeps you interested and engaged in this heart-warming steampunk adventure the whole time.
