4****StarsAmber Kell along with RJ Scott have gotten together to dazzle us with a new paranormal series. Yes, Dazzle is the word for this fun first in a series of Sam Enderson, Detective!Sam has decided that inheriting a building through the death of a family member, Uncle Hanson, will change his life. We meet him as he enters the building, the sign on the face of the office on the lower level reads The End Street Detective Agency. Sam has gotten his PI License and is ready to help all the masses of humans he can… This building sits on the corner of human and paranormal, but Sam has vowed he will not deal with any of the paranormals like his Uncle did… Humans ONLY. Have you ever made a vow you could not keep???Sam has decided that since the upper floors have 3 rooms, the space will afford him renting out one of the rooms for extra monies. A knock at the door, and we meet Bob, a hot sexy vampire looking for a place to rent. The attraction is immediate! Bob not only wants the room, he wants Sam, and Sam will have not a chance. Watch for steamy scenes to come. While walking through the upper rooms, we also meet Teddy the Ghost, who happens to be the guardian of his uncle’s files. This assortment is topped off with the grumpy stone gargoyle that comes to life and speaks!I think my laugh out loud moment was Sam’s meeting with his first client, whom he thought was a really old lady, until she asked him to get her wolf bones for a spell she wanted to cast. He was incredulous and her retort after he asked ‘what are you a witch?...Well, her droll answer is hilarious “Of course I’m a witch. I’ve got the wrinkled skin, the hunch, the cane and the rheumy eyes, should have given it away. This quirky, funny, beginning to this series is a novella, shorter that some have wanted. There are also questions that are left for later that needs attention to like helping Hunter Hartmann find his four year old wolf daughter, and the missing Triad Triplet.I, for one, am enchanted by this easy going introduction and world building, and have met enough ‘people’ to follow here without getting confused. I think that makes me really ready to deal with the next story unencumbered. I am excited, I am off to read The Case of The Wicked Wolf, Book Two.Review by Gloria LakritzSr Reviewer and Review Chair for the Paranormal Romance Guild I was laying in bed happy reading this book.Sam is an adorable sweet PI working cases of the paranormal. Bob is the sexy vampire that worms his way into Sams life and mind.So I was reading and reading and suddenly....the end!!!! No more book, just a TBC......So I like need the next book NOW!!!!!! That aside, the book is amazing, sweet, funny and really sexy...I adore the characters, all of them, and I just love Sam, Bob and the gargoyle;)♥hugs♥

It's a cliff hanger, folks! It reads to just over 80% on my Kindle. Sux! Disappointed.
