I had a really great time reading this book. It was sexy and fun, and I actually thoroughly enjoyed the main character's POV. I liked that she questioned things. I like that she had reservations about everything that was happening to her, rather than blindly accepting it. Well, as far as her reservations can go with this still being a good piece of erotica. The length was great, and it's a good hook to get readers interested in the rest of the story--it definitely worked on me. Okay, so this book taught me something valuable about myself.I discovered that I don't like BDSM. And for that - I'm glad that I read it. Thing is, this book is well written, interesting, builds good atmosphere, and I'm open minded, and curious and all that. But in the end, in spite of all that good stuff that this book contained, I still didn't connect. That told me something important. You see, in the past, I read BDSM and thought perhaps if it was better written, if the characters had more depth, if the story was more complex... But no! It was me all along. So now I know - and it was well worth the read!
