I loved the first Book of Awesome, so reading this book was a no brainier. Even better when I picked it up for $3.99. AWESOME! In this book Neil continues to point out all the little things in life that are awesome like being the only person on the beach or eating the tips of pies. There were so many awesome things that made be sigh and go yes, I know that feeling and it is awesome. This book is a fantastic quick read (granted I didn't read it quickly), and it is a great book to reach for when you are feeling blue because sometimes we all need a reminder that the big things don't matter, it's all these small awesome things that complete life. Like the previous book, The Book of (Even More) Awesome is a short read. It attempts to remind the reader of all the small events in life that make us smile. While most of the items can be related to easily, some of them are not so and seemed out of place. However, like the first book, this pick-me-up of a read excels with flying colors. Not much more can be said, as the book is nearly identical in nature to the first. It could have been combined with the first book most likely, but I believe this book is strong enough as a standalone offering.
