Quick read and great story line but the way it's written is quite disappointing. I find the beginning was rather lengthy; the meetings and all. And the part where Alexos and Grace met again was a bit too brief (other than the sex bits). Could have portrayed elaborate on the feelings and emotions of these characters especially after 6 years and they met again. No matter, it's still a good story line. Just poorly written. I would still give 3.5 :) Okay. My feelings for this book is entirely confusing.First of all, I thought Grace and Alexos were very likeable characters. I actually rooted for their happy ending, although I thought the epilogue was not necessary. However, the grammatical errors irritated me to death. Too much missing punctuations. Ugh. (Authors: this is why you need editors. Don't be too proud on your work.) But then again, the plot line kept me interested, so I just learned to tolerate the errors. Now, the point of view is omnipresent. I don't mind that, but please, if authors decide to do that, at least make it right. It was not consistent, and it made the pacing weird. On another note, reading this book made me realise how the world of romance never seems to run out of billionaires. (Before someone criticises me on this, I'd like to make it clear that I do understand why—women like to be pampered and that includes not worrying about anything financially.) And they all happen to be billionaires who are all so powerful, they could even control how the government would work in their request. Perhaps this is one thing where the romance novels get wrong. I know we live in a capitalist world, but COME ON, these men ought to have [enough] respect for the government. Then again, this is a work of fiction. One should never get too absorbed in its world.(But seriously, if you guys have read a book where the billionaire man is respectful enough to not try to control everyone and does not have a "I don't have to count how much money I spend" attitude, then I'd love it if you'd send a recommendation.)
Do You like book The Billionaire's Runaway Bride (2000)?
combination of cute and sexy read. Simple but adorably romantic tale of love.
