I started this book wondering if I would be able to keep the many characters straight in my mind. I was going back and forth trying to recall what part they play in this drama. I realized quickly that the story is so well written that this was not going to be a task- each one became a part of me as I read the role he/she played. I grew to know each one thoroughly as an individual. I have enjoyed previous novels by Penny Vincenzi and this one only made me want to read more. A horrific highway disaster affects many lives like a domino effect. I could not wait to see how each person would deal with the fate that beheld him. Funny how something that we see as life changing and terrible can turn into something that benefits rather than destroys. This was my first book by this author and I can't wait to read more by her. I enjoyed this book about how a large accident can change the lives of many people. It was hard to put down and I finished it very quickly even though it was over 500 pages. I loved the relationships in this book, how they changed and intertwined. My only complaint was that there were so many characters, sometimes it was hard to keep track of who was who. I also liked the fact that even though I didn't like every character, I still wanted to find out how things turned out for them.
I couldn't put it down! Love books with multiple characters and i found myself always wanting more.
