About book The Berkeley Method (2013)

In my opinion, these books get better and better! I love the growing relationship between the two main characters and the chemistry between them doesn't seem forced or boring. They're definitely some of my favorite characters and the plot, like the first book, kept my attention and entertained me.For those of you who want to read this book, I suggest you read the first, otherwise you will be confused reading this book. I enjoyed this book more than the first, which I didn't think possible, and I recommend this book to everyone! So here we are in book 2......Where to begin...oh yes with the ridiculousness that is Issy. James tells Issy that he will be gone for about a week, there wont be any signal for him to call or text her, but he will be back. Now if Issy was smart, and normal, a lot of women would take this as "he's just not that into you" however James and Issy seems to be on a different level. Issy immediately goes into OMG I CAN'T EAT OR DRINK mode. Now let's face the truth, how these 2 have been dating for less than a week. For the sake of my review, we'll assume they've been dating for 3 days. I wanted to shake the crap out of her. Because she's only known him for 3 days, what in the world did she do before she met him. Apparently nothing. And here I was thinking Issy could possibly be the stronger character out of all these type of books I've been reading...nope that didn't happen. Silly me for thinking that. James has offered her a lead in a movie, probably the role of a lifetime, and now we bring in a stalker. Clearly having a stalker was only brought in to fill up some pages in the book. I'll say again what I said in the review of the first book. Issy seems to be a very horrible friend to Lorna. In future books I'm hoping Lorna dumps her as a friend. All Issy seems to care about is her boyfriend of 3 days. I guess we'll bring on the 3rd book to see if it amuses me or just plain falters.

Do You like book The Berkeley Method (2013)?

I was really dissapointed in this book. I liked the first one so much, but this one was just missing so much. The writing was lack luster, author described every single thing in the book, lots of internal thoughts whih were just not needed, and the story line could have been good but all of the dialouge just seemed very juvenile. In addition I just didnt feel the connection between the two main characters. The little bit of BDSM she tried to incorporate was dull and didnt seem to make sense. I really cant even see myslef finisging this trilogy becuase I just have no desire to find out where these two characters end up.

This is the second of 4 books in the Spotlight sreies. The first book starts with a theatre audition for Isabella an unknown actress. She is young and beautiful and is shocked to find the famous, sexy and mysterious James Berkeley Film Director holding auditions. Chemistry is off the scales when he asks her to play a part in his next film. This book involves Isabella meeting the famous actors who will also appear in the film , being stalked and the feelings between her and James become hotter and more serious.I am starting the 3rd book The Directors Cut tonight.

Readable and enjoyable but the stalker story felt a bit like an episode of scooby doo at times....
