About book The Atlantis Code (2009)

Good subject (Atlantis with a twist), involvement of the Vatican to protect a secret,a super sexy linguistics professor wanted (and thus caught) by both gorgeous heroines, a geek, ancient artifacts, guns, pursuits, riddles...it was fun. The usual sort of easy roller-coaster ride this kind of novel proposes. The character I enjoyed the most (despite the fact that she too falls helplessly for the hot professor) is Natashya - her actions make the most sense, she's aggressive, hurt, vengeful, quick-witted and driven. Too bad her romance for Lourds spoils it for me. While not a bad book in and of itself, it is almost a blatant rip off of Da Vinci Code, only relating to atlantis instead of the holy grail. Scheming cardinals, secret religious orders, a super-human ivy league linguistics professor who somehow has connections all over the world and oh yeah- a whole bunch of money of his own. It was a good escapist novel, but don't expect it to shatter your world.
