This collection of novellas made me choose to reread the entire "Throne of Glass" series. It's interesting to get the back stories (such as Sam's involvement with Celaena) and then go back to the main series ... many of Celaena's choices and motivations make more sense, and the author's hints to events prior to the "Throne" timeline are flushed out in the novellas. I can't wait for book 4, but these stories tided me over a bit. This book was horribly sad. It's the story about Celeana's training as an assassin and the hopeless love she falls into.In all honesty, it was a great back story for Throne of Glass, although most of the content was training, killing or plotting deaths. Oh, and if Arobynn was a real person, he'd be dead. I would kill him myself, even if he is skilled, the best of the best killers and the assassin's trainer.
Do You like book The Assassin's Blade (2014)?
Rated PG-13/R for violence, sensuality, and possibly some language (I don't remember precisely.)
