About book The Art Of Eating In: How I Learned To Stop Spending And Love The Stove (2010)

A great challenge - cooking from home - results in some adventures in eating and cooking, which is sure to be enjoyable to those who love reading contemporary food blogs. Accessible and challenging to those who want to learn more about food and cooking, supper clubs and the habits of eating from home once again, this book will hopefully provoke readers to their own challenges about cooking and eating well at home and choosing restaurants not from habit, but for special occasions. I really liked Erway's writing style and personality. She totally seemed liked someone I'd want to be friends with. I enjoyed reading about her approach to food. Erway really went on a lot of different eating adventures when she decided not to eat out for two years, and shares her NYC stories in an engaging way. Recommend to people who get excited about food, both cooking AND going to restaurants--There are also some great recipes included!
