About book The Abused Werewolf Support Group (2014)
This summer our library is doing a "Blind Date with a Book" thing, where you grab a random book wrapped in newspaper, check it out at the auto-checkout and take it home and unwrap it. This is the one I got. It earns an extra star for completely ignoring any but the barest possibility of romance. Of course, that might be because this book is intended more for teen boys than teen girls, but I found it refreshing that the narrator wasn't pining for anybody. Not high literature, but fun to read. "And always remember- there's an I Can in Lycanthropy."That one line (don't worry, that's at the end, most of the book isn't like that) made me laugh for about ten minutes straight. The rest of the book... meh. I preferred the vampire one.Although it did lead me to discover dingoes (baby dingoes are possibly the cutest things on Earth. A fully grown dingo can also take down a kangaroo.... the awesomeness just grows and grows).
