Ten Below Zero is a MUST read. It is a very emotional, very personal book. Whitney does an amazing job of making you feel everything Parker is feeling. I am not ashamed to admit it, I cried before I was done. Ten Below Zero takes you on such an emotional roller coaster, you just can't help but feel everything Parker and Everett are feeling. I can't wait to read more about them and their story. If you are debating about reading this book, do it, you won't be disappointed, especially if you are looking for an "ugly cry" book. This was the first book of Whitney's I read and am now hooked and can't wait for more to be available!!!! This book is easily one of the best books I've read this year! Ms. Barbetti weaves such a beautiful and emotional journey for characters who are complex and not easily described. Yet, as a reader, I understood the deeper descriptions that were implied in the early pages and later confirmed. Parker was so emotionally bankrupted but was still a person and Everett saw the person inside. This is a story that will stay with you and you will recommend to your friends. It's the kind of book that you feel lucky to have found because it pulls something out of you and gives you something back. It's the diamond in the sandbox kind of book.
