in the beginning I want gave this book 2 stars. you know why??? cause I'm pissed! the story was far from what I've expected. I'm pissed cause Ford was such a pussy. he don't want to let go of Rook (his best friend girlfriend). after he's confessed his feeling toward Rook, he run away. hes rude, he's bad boy, he's rich, he's dont want to fall in love, he don't want to care about woman anymore. he want go to LA to escape from the reality. . but in his way to LA he's met a beautiful a mom with beautiful baby. her name is Ashleigh. and she will change Ford world.Ashleigh and her baby (Kate) on their way to LA, but her car broke down cause the extreme of the weather. Ashleigh is half Asian. she's fragile, she's broken but she hide it well in front of Ford. she want go to LA to say a lot of things to Kate's father. but the sad things and the mystery opened there...Ford help them. share his room, home, food and in the end he give his heart to them. she's remained her as Rook. and I hate that when Ford remembered about Rook.Ford is sweet sometimes, he loves bdsm too. he love spanking Ashleigh ass. and he loves Ashleigh and her baby unconditionally.I'm not truly in love with this book. but I'm enjoyed some chapters. so I gave 3 stars. sorry Amazing!!! I love Ford like a lot!!!I really like reading males POV and beimg inside Ford's head was great, the book is very detailed it was easy to see what was going on at the time, I hurt for him at the beginning with Rook situation, and my heart broke for Ash and what happened to her. I feel the ending was a lil rushed but the time they spent together getting to know each other and falling in love made up for the rush at the end. I'm moving on to Spencer's books now but I'm sad they're the last cause I'll miss this characters a lot.
