I really liked the idea of this series. Unfortunately the execution was not the best. Although, I must admit that the variety of scenarios peaked my interest even though some of the stories left me wondering why I was continuing with the book. I would have liked to read more about the other couple from the Mirror Image insert who was similar to the main couple. It would have been interesting to read how both serial killers went about the daily aspects of their lives. Rather than blowing them up, it would have been cool to read some sort of duel rather than just the hostage standoff.And Rojo chose to use Jessica as a hostage out of all the people he could have chosen?Then being split down the middle for organ warmth?Some things just did not add up. I know it was short stories but the stories almost seemed extremely too short. And the use of He & Him started to become a bit annoying if not a tad confusing at times.Still I may read the next set just to see if it gets any better. Wow. These are so stupid, it hurts. Thank God I didn't pay for them. I'm actually embarrassed that I clicked on these. That's how bad the writing is. The premise made me laugh out loud. A serial killer that doesn't kill because he loves his first victim, who he married? WTF. Now they profile? The cops are blown away because they solved a big case in a single day? NO. I'm gonna stop you right there.It's rare that I cross paths with something this terrible. Worst book I've read this year, hands down.
