The relationship between Aaron & Jacob was wonderful and sometimes 'creepy-stalkerish' lol. I don't think this book was quite as sweet and fluffy as some had lead me to believe. We had angst, heartbreak, and one very real codependent relationship (but that's what makes it soooo good!) The back and forth banter with these two gave the book what it needed to 'lighten' it up some and it was some of the best I've read. :)Let's talk Desperate (OMIGOD!) Sex! As hot and out of this world unbelievably hott this was, you can just feel the love pouring off of each of them and the other one trying to soak it all in. :sigh:Damn I wish there was more of these guys. Ok, first of I have to say this is the first time I've read this author, and she is just a good storyteller. I could get into both Jake's head as well as Aaron's. The way she could get them to banter with each other was spectacular. I sometimes wanted to choke the guys because they were being stubborn as Miles! I loved the story so much, it hurt me so much when they fell apart, but the reconciliation was HOT HOT HOT!! and very much worth the wait. I hope the author decides to write some more, her writing style was unique and refreshing. I'm glad I chose this book for my Feb challenge, very worth it.
