Actually not quite three stars. The premise is pretty good - brilliant but nerdy young medical researcher and rough around the edges banker join forces to battle evil big pharma and cure just about everything. Cameron the doctor and Bryn the banker are interesting characters, as are several of the minor players - Dai, Bryn's brother, his parents, Mungo the computer ace and Meg and Kati, the two assistants. There is some nice descriptive writing and some interesting plot twists. No surprise in the romance department though. But the Evil Pharma people are so evil and all powerful that it's a bit much. And there is an awful lot of medical/chemical information to slog through - too much in my opinion.Still, not a bad read and decently written.
