Its awesome to know that not all vampires in this series our evil. And certainly Jake is not evil at all but he is hot as hell as only a vampire can be. He given the task to watch out and protect Leigh Ann Parker for another vampire only to find out in the end that she is his mate. I love the whole scene where she tries to get another woman to seduce him while she makes a run for it. My only regret was that it was too short of a story but diffinitly a hot read. Two thumbs up. Highly reccomend this book to others. Confusing at first, this tale will take you through some quick changes. It seemed as if the story started before the book began and you just have to keep reading ro catch up with the plot or get left behind. On the plus side the story is awesime, once you do catch up. I loved the fearlessness of the heroine, and the brutal way she acted. I am tired of those books that show the heroine as some weak limp thing that needs to be taken care of, and rescued, constantly. Or always at the mercy of the heroes lusts. Its about time these's men have to beat a woman off 'to preserve his honor'. Let's hear it for Deflowered Heroes! Will definately be on the lookout for more from this author.
If I could give half stars this would have been a 2.5 rating. It just wasn't there for me.
