3 estrellas y media!Aunque soy consciente que esto no es lo mejor que leí de Jennifer me gustó, esta mujer no deja de sorprenderme con sus historias si bien utiliza muchos tópicos -chico sexy como el infierno, ganador, chica buena, etc- nunca me resultan aburridos sus libros y los termino en un abrir y cerrar de ojos.En Tempting the best man nos encontramos con Maddie, ella estuvo toda su vida prácticamente enamorada del mejor amigo de su hermano Chase Gambler y al parecer él también siente algo por ella, el problema es que él no se permite jamás tener una relación por ciertos traumas del pasado. Las cosas se complican entre ellos cuando se ven obligados a compartir mucho tiempo juntos y a permanecer en la misma cabaña durante la boda de Mitch, el hermano de Maddie.La atracción entre ellos cuando no se están peleando entre sí es evidente para todos, incluídas sus familias quienes desesperadamente tratan de emparejarlos sabiendo que son perfectos uno para el otro. Los personajes si bien no son la gran cosa ni muy complejos son fáciles de querer, Maddie fue entretenida de leer y me identifiqué con ella en algunos aspectos. Chase es uno de los tantos personajes masculinos de los que nos tiene acostumbrados J Lynn, me gustó pero no me enamoró como otros, sorry Chase.Para pasar el rato es un libro entretenido. Madison's brother is getting married and this means she will be in close proximity with Chase Gamble. Her childhood crush and puppy love interest. She has known Chase all her life and after a chance encounter that ended abruptly before sex, their friendship was never the same. Although, they see each other almost everyday they are not the same as they once were. This weekend meant 4 days with Chase as her partner in the bridal party. Madison would have never been able to guess the events that would occur leading to her need to leave the city and Chase behind. But, will he go to her? and will she accept him?This book has me floored! I picked it up this morning as a time killer and I finished it early this afternoon. This is the kind of dysfunctional love story that I am attracted to. The dialogue was playful and on-point in each scenario. The miscommunication between characters had me on the edge of my seat with the will they - won't they? When I get this invested in a book it gets 5 stars in my book. I felt her embarrassment, her pain, her need for him. I like that although not in first person, the narrater goes back and forth between her perspective and his. Another out of the park hit by J. Lynn - I can't wait to bunker down with another one, ASAP!
