About book Stealing The Dragon (2013)

Shoot me right through the heart! This story was just so cute! I normally don't bother with short stories, because I feel they don't have enough space to develop, but this one had such good reviews I had to try it out. And it has dragons! And so I'm really glad I read it. Sure, there were maybe too many "action" scenes that could have been cut towards character development and you never really get to see Jeffrey and Tori in an actual relationship, but it is a cute-sweet-quick read that I recommend! Dear Author, if you ever read this please consider writing an epilogue for when Tori's grown up! This is a short and very sweet read. Tori is a 17 year old baby dragon who has something very important stolen from him. Jerney is a witch who has devoted his entire life to keeping his family together and safe. Both characters are interesting, but Tori is absolutely adorable. I also enjoyed how the author gave us a glimpse into how characters from previous stories are getting along. Fair warning: just like Cleanly Wrong, this is really more of a fairy tale than a romance. Tori is very clearly still a baby and any romance between him and Jerney is far in the future. However, the relationship they do have is very cute and fits the story perfectly. I think this is a great light read and I can see myself pulling it out again for another chance to read about adorable Tori. (One small thing that nagged at me when I finished the book. Do we know if Jerney ages like a normal human? I kept picturing him as a old man when he and Tori finally do get together.)

Very light, sweet romance with little to no physical interaction. But cute!
