OMG!!! This book is AMAZING!!!! Only wish for either a more conclusive ending, or a sequel... Still, hilarious! Funniest book I'd ever read! Seriously... Uproarious! You'll laugh, cry, scream, tear your preverbal (or literal, I'm not judging) green hair out; you not only feel like Sprout, you BECOME him! Dale Peck is the best realistic-fiction writer EVER!!!! I'm definitely gonna check out more of his books. I really liked this, I read it right after Matt Greene's Ostrich, and for some reason it seems like this book could be the sequel to ostrich in another dimension or something. Both books mentioned the cat that is both dead and alive until you open it. Both books also had main characters that were really into writing, and were training for some kind of writing showcase. I also really liked the relationships in the story. Though i wish we knew more about what happened to Ruthie. I also liked the fact that Sprout died his hair, I am currently in the process of dyeing my hair blue.
