"Spellcaster," is the 2nd in a series of young adult books. It's about a teenage girl named Emma who moves to NYC only to find out not only is she a witch but she's the victim of an eternal curse. She discovers it when she meets her "Spellbound" (the first book) true love, Brendan. I won't tell you more than that, but I can tell you that the book series is truly entertaining. Cara has an amazing way of telling a congruent story, full of twists and turns with no plot holes and littered with the kind of humor that appeals to everyone from teens to adults. It's slightly off-color, never-offensive, very creative and always hilarious. Buy a copy for yourself, or a friend, family member, etc and see for yourself. I hate that I am done with this book :'( But it was an amazing series and I loved every second of it!!! I laughed multiple times every page with how witty and funny Emma was, and it really made her likable and relatable !!! And Brendan- aaah soo hot and protective and sexy and ugh!!!!!! I just wish I could find my soul mate like Emma has found hers... I loved how much this was more based on romance and then had some paranormal mixed in because my problem with some books is that the little cutesy romance that they have just aren't enough and this book was really really my speed! But I do hate that there aren't more of these Spellbound books because I would love to go a little further in their lives and just see and read about their love :') But overall I really enjoyed this book and I was glad that I gave it a shot instead of reading the horribly wrong reviews that these books got! But my only problem with this book is the cover.. because that girl doesn't look like Emma but it looks too old to be Ashley but anyways.. LOVED THIS BOOK! Annnd now I have to go through painful BREMMA withdrawal!!!:(
