I honesty hated this book. Part of it being the way in which it was written, and part of it being the plot. I was furious as to the way Jeremy went about getting what he wanted, and also how he took away her sight. A blindfold would have been sufficient, but he took it too far. Then he totally took her emotional stability and tore it down. While I believe some things were good for her, I also found his aggressiveness to be almost abusive of his power over her body. And then when he took away almost all of her senses as a part of an experiment, thus putting her in danger, it pissed me off. So I was upset with Alex and Jeremy. I think the only reason I will read the next one is to put a close to what happened at the end of this one.... Some very bizarre elements and WTF moments in this book.The adultery wasn't a problem. To me a healthy woman in her 30s not having sex with her husband was the problem.More SPOILERS coming up. The blinding - not cool.What an arrogant ass he was, still Alex was down with it and turned out he knew what she needed.The deaf, dumb and blind bit was horrific. I kept thinking Alexa was in some lab with nerdy professors sitting around taking notes while she was brought to fabulous multiple orgasms. Still the sex had some vagueness about it and its not very memorable now that I've finished the book. And if you aren't sure the trilogy will sell well, tack on a cliffhanger.Yup, I will be reading book 2 because I do want to find out what happens next.
