About book Special Forces - Mercenaries Part II (2010)

My 5 star rating says it all. This series is unbelievably engrossing. There were parts that made me very sad and some made me very mad, but the emotional turmoil was worth it. At one point in the book I stopped reading and told myself that I would not finish this one, nor would I read the final installment (Veterans) because I was angry with both idiot men. Of course that didn't last, so I subjected myself to more pain and anguish. I truly love this series, which probably says a lot about my overall state of mind. I recommend reading it, but have a large bottle of wine handy for pain control. Finally, I'm done. This book was one of the longest to read in the series so far because it annoyed me a lot. I like how it ended however, with Dan's 'concerns' about their open relationship coming out in the open. Although I wished that something tragi, like say death, would happen to Dan, he got ******* instead which is fine with me. Hopefully, veterans focuses on only Dan and Vadim's love. I'm do tired of thr 'badass' Mad Dothat isn't satisfied with having one partner. I'm tired of threesome's and I just want the passion that we saw in Book 1. Here's to a Happily Monogamous Ever After.

Some surprises here. Didn't like it as much as the Soldiers and Merc I, but only by a little bit.
