This book was very 50/50 for me. What I liked: I'm a sucker for friendships spanning time. Even though some of the events surrounding them seemed a little obvious, it was still really heartwarming to see how the sorority women (FRIENDS FROM COLLEGE!) stuck together. There is something to be said for friends who had when you were developing into who you are and I feel that strongly in my life. What I didn't like: dear god, the dialogue was awful. No one talks in such short, punctuated, always sarcastic lines. Also, Diane was MUCH LESS upset about the betrayal than she should have been/would be in real life. Ellen, Karen, Laurie and Diane join a college sorority, bonding them for life. I loved how it moved through their lives, through heartbreaks, and finding love. The different views from each woman gave different perspectives. Even though I didn't agree with some of their choices, I loved every character and found myself crying at one point. Couldn't put it down (which was unfortunate considering I should have been studying)
