I picked up this book at random at a Half Price Bookstore because the cover looked interesting and it seemed to have a decent rating on Goodreads. I honestly had zero expectations going in. This book was a FANTASTIC read. It's not a peachy book, it's a bit dark and... different. I feel like people would either really love this book or not understand it all.The plot keeps you fully engaged, but it's not too crazy to the point where you don't know what is going on. I honestly couldn't stop reading till the very end. I love how the author weaves real events and PR facts into the plot line (Kudos to Mr. Daniel Price) And I felt like I could really relate to Scott, what a brilliant character. Watching him develop and truly understanding how he thinks was awesome. I honestly just wanted to give the guy a hug at the end of the book. Once I finished the novel, I literally had to sit down and recuperate. I still need to know more about Hunta and Harmony- what their future holds. And Jean and Madison were precious characters, and I want to know what their lives are like ten years down the road.I am so glad I picked up this gem on that fateful day at HPB. Highly recommend.
