So, the girls of the Love Me section have all been assigned their own mission. Basically, they're all being put out of their comfort zone in order to grow as actors and people. Kyouko's mission pairs her with Ren in some strange method acting scenario that I've yet to grasp the point of. In fact, the goal of their mission is not yet disclosed, but the President of LME has apparently given them a task to accomplish whilst living as their characters. It's pretty dumb so far. Kotonami must act in a period drama as the type of clingy, lovesick, pushover she despises. And the newest member of the Love Me section, Chiorin, must be a contestant/guest on a comic game show with a bunch of airhead , no-talent actresses who get by on their looks alone. Right now I'm more interested in Kotonami and Chiorin's development. Hilarious, as per usual. The anaconda thing made me giggle...as did Chiori-chan's rage notebook...The story appears to be going in a direction that will force Kyoko and Ren closer...oh, that delights me. Ren is freaking HOT as Cain Heel! And seeing Kyoko as Setsuka compels me to develop a major girl-crush on her. However, I refuse to give this volume 5 stars because not much happened and the volume ended in such a way that it annoyed me. Furthermore, all three Love-Me members are depicted on the cover, but the first two are only featured in the first half of the volume. There isn't much to what goes on with those two...the volume cover was misleading in my opinion. Much as I love Ren, I was hoping for more Love-Me antics.Looking forward to vol. 27! I've seen the cover on Amazon, and it lifts my hopes and expectations much higher than they probably should be. Oh, Nakamura is so cruel...
