About book Sisters Of The Quilt: The Complete Trilogy (2006)
When Hannah Lapp's life is torn apart by unthinkable tragedy, it seems no one in her old order Amish community understands. Faced with viscous rumors and heart-rending decisions, Hannah's faith begins to grow as she learns to trust God with her pain and with her future. This book was so good! Emotional, intense, and just wow. At times, I just wanted to cry along with Hannah and her pain, but at the same time it was beautiful to watch her grow in faith and find healing. I recommend this for more mature readers, because Hannah is taken advantage of and the description is not graphic, but you clearly understand what's going on. This is so different from any other Amish fiction I have ever read, but what a great story! One of the best Amish series written.I have to rate the entire series a five stars. It was well written, and each book had it's own theme, yet kept me wanting more, until the end.And the end was not what one expected, until very close to the last couple chapters in the third book in the series. This is a good read series. I recommend reading the series, together if possible. One minute you can be crying, the next cheering the heroine on!It was riveting, (I hope I spelled that right.)It kept me eager to read and read, until the last page of book three.
