This was closer to three and 1/2 stars. I'm a big fan of Lisa Bingham after stumbling on Silken Promises (the sequel) a few months back. While I love her prose and the way she brings the scenes and emotions to life in vivid color, this book dragged in many areas. I think the biggest problem was the physical relationship between Lettie and Ethan. Those scenes were too drawn out and I got bored with pages and pages of indecision between them. After such awesome chemistry in Ms. Bingham's other book with Jacob and Fiona, I expected something different. It was still a good book though and the last hundred pages really had me turning pages. I laughed again at the Beasley sisters. I can only hope to be that much trouble to my children when I'm old and grey. I plan to have just as much fun, too. But I digress... The guilty party was a big surprise that I didn't see coming and I really liked the way the robbery heists played out. It was also nice to see the background on Jacob and Lettie's relationship. Overall it was a very nice read.
