Oh My Goodness!! I can't believe how much I'm loving this series!! Firstly I am going to recommend that you read these in order. Although each book is about a different couple the story has a continuous plot line. This is written in third person, and although you get mostly the hero (Todd) and heroine's (Myra) point of view you do get the point of view of several other characters as well. I have to say this is not my favorite writing style, that said the story is so well-written and so captivating that I hardly noticed the change in POV. This book has everything I look for in a favorite romance, it's funny, steamy, sweet, suspenseful, intriguing, and a tear jerker!!I loved Todd & Myra, they were so good together, and bonus... No misunderstandings and minimal drama!! I also continue to love the supporting characters and I can't wait to read their stories!!This book takes place equally in the present and in the 16th century highlands. I am thoroughly enjoying the touch of time travel and magic, it's brilliant!! I'd read two of this series before reading 'Silent Vows'. I think I'm hooked! These books manage to take me away from the stress of my life and into the book where nothing else exists. I want to be part of the amazing MacCoinnich family. Can Cian fall in love with me when the time comes please?After having read two books where people went back in time it was interesting to see the turn around of one of the lovers having to go forward. I think it would be a very different thing to cope with time travel to the future as we have no concept of what the future would be like. I think Myra coped extremely well with it. I also enjoyed seeing a Druid fall for a non-magical person. Thank you Catherine. I'm off to read the next one!
