While I love this author, I don't love this book. Good background information, character development and establishment of sexual tension and angst. But, when things actually started to happen between both main characters, I found that the end result was less than satisfying on both emotional and physical levels of their relationship. It left me feeling like the story was left unresolved somehow.... I read this story back when it was first posted and while I don't remember the names of the MCs I do remember the plot and my feelings about it. Show Me Yours was probably doomed, for me, from th every beginning, because I'd previously read Into Deep Waters and the story remains my favorite from Kaje Harper and it set the bar very high. While the writing itself was solid, the tone was what made this a miss for me. It was way too preachy and the point about all gay men not being into penetration was driven home over and over. Still, I have to admit my complaints fall into the category of taste differences rather than being actual flaws. And no matter what, for a free read, Show Me Yours is likely a gem for many readers.

I absolutely love how Kaje makes her characters real. A wonderfully told story of friends to lovers.
