The original (tagalog) version is indeed way better than the published one. My Four-star rating is for the original version.Sobrang daming cuts sa english version. A lot of emotions were not conveyed. The sad parts or scenes are SDTG story's greatest strength which I think the book version failed to show.Buti naglabas na ngayon ng book na tagalog version, though marami pa ring cuts, mas ok naman siya kaysa sa english version.This is not my favorite wattpad story. I don't like sad endings. Pero ito talaga yung story na sobrang nagpaiyak sa'kin. Ilang beses ko na rin syang nabasa pero umiiyak pa rin ako everytime I read it.BTW, the movie was superb! Twice ko siyang pinanood sa cinema. SDTG pa lang ang nakapagbigay ng justice sa mga WP stories na ginawang movie. So yeah.. The thing is...it's actually very poorly written. I feel like it's what the author wanted her love story to be like; which makes it..well (i'm sorry) corny.The writing itself was bad. What with all the emoticons used to emphasize the feelings of the characters on that certain moment (as if words were not enough to do this). It looked like it was written by a 13 year old. The plot isn't original either. A bad boy makes a deal with a good girl and they eventually fall in love. Throw in some Korean elements (I don't even know what for) and some terminal diseases and voila! you have the story. It's what you'll usually get from primetime teleseryes in the Philippines. But I have to admit that it does have its kilig moments. And if you give it a chance, it will pull some heartstrings. Because although we hate to admit it, we're a sucker for love stories. And a tragic love story is no exception.
