"She Belongs To Me" by Carmen DeSousa is a gripping thriller and a beautiful love story in one.It begins with a big question mark over the relationship between Detective Jordan and his wife Jaynee. Before an ultimatum about the relationship can be answered however he finds her almost dead with a gun shot wound and many more questions to answer.The book then tells their love story as it developed five years before, while another narrative focuses on finding out what is behind the gun shot.Cleverly plotted and bringing the elements of romance and thriller together in a well paced blend this is a very enjoyable read that should do well with fans of either genre. It was very apparent that this book is of the Christian romance variety. I think that should be put forward first and foremost. I did enjoy this book. It moved pretty fast and had flashbacks, but it was organized and thought out. The story was summed up with a happy ending.However, there were quite a few errors and in order to enjoy this book, you have to be comfortable with a damsel in distress and an alpha male.
I didn't really get into this book until the middle. Then I "got" the story and enjoyed the rest
