About book Shadowdwellers: Sagan (2013)

Sagan, a penance priest for as long as he can remember, has made a startling discovery Natural Born Witch named Valera. Valera, a former necromancer, now turned good witch. Valera challenges everything that Sagan knows about the world around him. Sagan finds that he is in love with Valera but needs to return home. Malaya, co-ruler of the Shadowdwellers, has been told of an old law forcing her to marry but she cannot imagine what is wrong with Guin her loyal bodyguard let alone her twin Tristan. Malaya is forced to realize that what she thought she knew was wrong but doesn't really accept it. M'jan Magnus is faced with a terrible choice thanks to the Acadian and is powerless to do anything about it. Trace, royal vizier to Chancellor Tristan, is guarding his wife and unborn child from harm but it's not enough. Can Sagan be something other than a priest? Will Valera allow Sagan a chance to love her? Will Malaya finally understand what is wrong with Guin? Can the Acadian be stopped? These questions and more are answered in Pleasure. One of the most idifferent books I've ever read. It was so boring and I didn't finish it. I left it somewhere after the middle. The first story with Sagan and Valera was somewhat better. I'd give it 2 stars. Predictable and all, but it was readable. The second one may be the most boring paranormal story I've ever read. And it also had the worst sex scene ever!Through the sex scene I couldn't stop rolling my eyes at the dialogs. Totally ridiculous.I hated this book. It tormented me for a long time and I don't like leaving books half-read but with this it was my only option. Now I'll give it to a library or something. It has to go.I don't recommend it!
